PROJECT OUTLINE

Phoenix (GMR) was project manager for the decommissioning of substations that served the Wellington overhead trolley bus network. The overhead network was completely removed by June 2018 and the first substation was removed that November. The project involved 17 sites in total and work was completed in late 2019.
