    “I originally started in the metal recycling industry with Kamo Scrap Metals back as a youngster on the ground floor. I worked with Kamo Scrap Metals for 10 years who then joined Phoenix Metalman Recyclers. Myself and some of the team who I first started working with are still here and have kept growing and evolving alongside Phoenix ever since. I am now managing the yard I started in and am very proud to be such a major contributor to the recycling efforts in New Zealand.”

    “I started in the industry in 2013, working as a weighbridge operator. From there I’ve done a wide range of roles from loading containers, operating the container hoist, material handler…I’ve moved in and out of the Phoenix business but wanted to be involved again when I heard of exciting things happening. From being a 2IC, then Branch Manager and Regional Manager for the Lower North Island, I’m now in business development. I enjoy working for Phoenix because you never know what is going to come through the gate, and it is fun solving how we will deal with unfamiliar or difficult material.”
