We’re proud to announce that we’ve been awarded New Zealand’s first solar panel recycling permit! Soon, we’ll be accepting all types of solar panels - framed and unframed - helping pave the way for a more sustainable future.
As we can recycle 98% of the panel materials this is a great solution to recover much of this complex waste stream including aluminium, magnesium, silicon, iron, lead, cadmium, argentum, glass, fibreglass and polyurethane among others. The remaining 2% of material is lost during the recycling process where particles become too small to be separated and recovered. Watch this space for updates!
