PROJECT OUTLINE

GORE SUBSTATION - T2 and T3 110/33 kV – 30MVA Transformer replacement. In deconstructing Transpower’s redundant asset, 97,561 kg’s were recycled by Phoenix. The estimated emissions to recycle from asset site to global destination port (South Port Bluff - to Laem Chabang, Thailand : 19.789 tCO2e, including on water transportation of 10,293km’s).

tCO2e estimation calculated with our Toitu eManage software.

Phoenix have voluntarily offset all carbon emissions associated within the scope of this project; including flights, passenger vehicles, cranes, forklifts, transporters, packaging and shipping within our Toitu Envirocare Net Carbon Zero Programme. The team at Phoenix Metalman Recycling are committed to assisting and being a part of Transpower’s journey to Net Carbon Zero when it comes to the measured, transparent recycling of their redundant assets. By combining both sustainability and capability together; Phoenix delivered the safe, efficient and sustainable recycling of all materials from this project.
